How to enable smart unlock using trusted places on Android

What is Smart Unlock?

If you are in trusted places, you don't need to worry about phone privacy. So that kind of places you, no need to enter pin, password, pattern, or fingerprint. By default, new Android systems have a smart unlock system. If you enable this, in the trusted location, once you enter the pin, it will stay in the same location. It won't ask for a PIN during unlocking.

Follow the steps below to enable Smart Unlock Trusted Location

  • Open Settings.
  • Now search Smart Lock ( In some phone's name will be different)
  • Now choose and enable this. It will show three options. In this, choose Trusted location. It will ask for the PIN. Enter it.
  • Now enable the Trusted Location. Click the " add location button to add the location, or use the search option to add a location. You can add multiple locations.

Note: It will only work if your internet and location are turned on, because the Smart unlock option relies on these two. Sometimes it won't work, due to security reasons, and not a suitable place.
